Our Mission:

Out on the mellow breaks of Cherry Grove Beach, I get to trade spreadsheets for surf wax and help newcomers stand tall on their first waves. As a coach at Knee-High Surf School, I guide students of all ages through the rhythm of the ocean—teaching fundamentals, building confidence, and turning wipeouts into laughter.

From reading the tides at sunrise to celebrating that first clean pop-up, I shape each lesson around safety, stoke, and the simple joy of being in the water. Whether I’m pushing a knee-high ripper into the perfect shore-break roller or helping adults rediscover their inner grom, my job is to share the magic of the Carolina coast one wave at a time. 

Every session ends with sandy smiles, salt-tangled hair, and a crew of new surfers who can’t wait to paddle back out—proof that the best classroom is the ocean and the best job is teaching people how to dance with it.
